Why is Guiding Work Important

This work is deeply needed because in modern, western culture we have been losing our relationship with our authentic Human Nature, including Rite of Passage, ceremony, reciprocity with the non human world, and even our own mammalian embodiment for long, long time.

The symptoms of this loss are rampant and have far reaching repercussions.....

Restoring these human practices, and ways of being, has a potent potential for desperately needed change and sustainable transformation.

YES, in the realm of personal, therapeutic & self development contexts, AND also throughout our culture from:

  • infant to adolescents,
  • adult to elder,
  • in the medical system,
  • in politics
  • in the journeys of death and dying,
  • in the celebrations of living,
  • in the daily embodiment of our own sexuality and sensuality,
  • and perhaps most important of all, in our relationship with nature.
