How to bring it all home?
Guiding Integration has become a focus of my work in response to the current conditions and climate that so many of us find ourselves in.
It appears as though our world is developing a pattern, a quickening pace, of more and more initiatory experiences occurring in people's lives. From metrics as large as the pandemic and climate crisis, and political turmoil down to the very detailed catalysts for transformation in a single human life.
- The vision of doorsill after doorsill after doorsill, leading from the last threshold, only to the next threshold is illustrative of this pattern.
- “Becoming” appears to be a cyclical phase in many people's lives, and a dependence on constant stimulation and change in the face of “not enoughness” develops.
- This pattern creates an over emphasis on individuality and a potential divergence from community, teamwork, genuine relationships, and reciprocity with the natural world. A broken circle remains; spiraling without ascension, dissension or connection.
- Integrating experiences is absolutely crucial aspect human development and our own sense of wholeness.
- Integration Guiding focuses on digestion. On bringing an intense experience, journey, or transformation into our homes, our daily living, our communities and our narratives.
