The Lens Embodiment

Embodiment as a Lens

We are given a body, to experience our world, yes?

How often do we intentionally practice experiencing, 1st our own body, and 2nd the world through our own body?

Seeing through the lens of Embodiment to me means honoring our wholeness. By incorporating our senses, our emotions, our thoughts, our impulses towards reverence and awe. It means living through pleasure and pain. It means having preference as well as anger. It means experiencing all the felt sense aspects of Love! It means allowing our mammalian selves to be free and natural as they are.

Embodiment is a instinctual way of being that may be approached through intentional practices, through remembering inherent actions and also through unlearning some of our cultures and civilized ways.

Through embodied living we may be able to approach and to move through the intense experiences of being human fully, with out leaving fragments or parts behind. We may be able to better digest  the nutrients and the toxins of our experiences. We may be able to incorporate all the diverse aspects of our knowledge, and integrate our beliefs into our everyday lives.

Embodiment is fun and wild. Embodiment is natural and mysterious.
