To have a "co-" in any offering can be an incredibly enriching experience for not only the particiapants, but also the guides themselves!
While facilitation and guiding work is about working with people and being in frequent relationships, there are aspects that can be very lonely.
- Co-guiding gives companionship. Perhaps a drastically under-represented dynamic within the realm of facilitation.
- Co-guiding may occur solely during the offering, it may also extend to the creation and dreaming phase. Which again is often done alone.
- Adding another guide diversifies the content of the offering. I often co-guide to offer an inter-generational dynamic to guide teams.
- Co-guiding supports growth and development. I have benefited immensely from being in co-guiding relationship due to receiving a perspective of feedback that is extremely rare and useful.
- I simply LOVE to co-guide!!!
